Business success is nothing related to salesmanship, and very little to do with understanding of the offerings or products.
It is due to more fundamental fundamentals that will determine your success or failure in everything you do in your life. startup stories
They are your A, B, Cs, Belief, Attitude and Consistency. In reverse order.
ConsistencyWe rise every day We brush our teeth, wash, dress and have breakfast. We’re consistent in our actions. We practice it daily. We must be congruous with the tasks that are related to our work for the days we have decided we working whether it is either one or seven days per week.
We must keep the six marbles inside our left pockets or on the left part of the bag. transfer one marble to the opposite side for each time we’ve completed a positive act i.e. meeting a client, talking to someone about business, etc. and so on. The trick is to do it regularly. We must have transferred all six marbles (better still 10) at the end of the day. We must focus on the action, not the outcome. In other words, we must focus on the actions, not the outcome.
If we are mountain climbing If we were to constantly gaze at the top, we’ll soon slip up and slide down. We must be focused on each step and one after another and, as soon as the sun sets, we will be on our way to the top.
An unshakeable and fervent faith in our company in our products, services, and what it can offer its customers.
Perhaps the most significant of them all, yet useless by itself. It’s not worth being the most positive person around if one is just sitting in a dark room without speaking to anybody. What is an attitude? It’s different from the way one perceives yourself and other people. I’ll describe it this way.
Your face is absolutely transparent, and your character is evident whether it’s either positive or negatively. From the moment potential customers see you, or even before you meet the person, your attitude will come through. The person who is looking at it will notice but maybe not conscious of it and reacts to it. The primary thing a salesperson needs to present is their own self before they speak. If they’re not able to sell themselves they could as well get up and leave and get back to sleep. If they couldn’t sell themselves they won’t be able to sell a peanut bar or even a Mars bar.
Another way to describe attitude is while taking my 14-year old daughter for a trip to Disneyland Paris we went one evening to an evening of an aquatic circus. The show was very unusual, with people dancing, diving and doing somersaults on water. It was an incredible spectacle. What made it better (we were in the very front row) was the fact that all performers, without exception, were truly enjoying themselves. They were enjoying every second of it and giving everything they had. Their energy shined as a beacon, and this was the reason we had a blast.
When we wake up in the morning , and begin doing the things that are consistent, let us have a big, smile that makes us feel satisfied with ourselves and maintain that throughout the day. While doing our work, we must maintain a positive attitude towards our fellow employees. If we cannot be at the same place that we physically are, there is no reason to be at all. It is more comfortable to take a horse on the direction in which it is heading.
So , those are 3 essential elements which determine ability to succeed or fail at everything in life.
